Daren Reid and the Soul City Groove are a six piece band that have been established for over twelve years. In the band's history they have achieved a reputation for dynamics in entertainment, musicianship and consistency.

Daren Reid and the Soul City Groove currently perform a hectic gig schedule at many of Perth's high profile pubs and clubs, and have toured extensively throughout Asia.

Daren Reid and the Soul City Groove have played a number of major Perth functions over the years, including the West Coast Eagles Champions Award Night a few years ago (which was the largest seated event in Western Australia's history with over 1500 people at the Burswood Dome), The Perth Cup at Ascot Racecourse, the Hopman Cup Ball, the Perth Zoo Twilight Concert Series and the Australia Day Skyshow to an audience of 30,000.

They have also shared the same bill with the likes of Daryl Braithwaite, Vika and Linda Bull, The Angels, James Reyne and many other high profile Australian and overseas acts.

Their mixture of original and cover classics appeals to a large variety of audiences with the focus being on the entertainment and quality of musicianship.
