Decoy is a four piece party/rock band that prides itself on excellent musicianship and entertaining live performances. All four members are seasoned performers with national touring credits to their name.

Guitarist Shayne Savic is a professional musician and has been playing since the  age of 14, he has performed in many of Perth’s well known bands. Extensive experience in theatre, performing in shows such as “Grease” & “Mamma Mia” has enhanced his musical reputation.

Bassist Sam Michael is an accomplished multi-instrumentalist. He has been showcasing his talents on mandolin and resonator guitar in the folk music circuit at venues such as The Fairbridge Folk Festival as well as laying down fat bass grooves for Decoy.

Vocalist Ella Bourne has sung in a variety of bands covering styles including top 40, 80s, R’n’B/Soul and Rock. Her stage presence and ability to relate to any audience make her one of WA’s most popular and sought after singers.

Vinnie Crea is a well known and respected Drummer having played with some of Australia’s most successful artists. He is also on the lecturing team for contemporary music at WAAPA.

Since Decoy was formed in 2002, the band has performed at many of Perth’s premier venues, outdoor events and corporate functions. The band is currently in its 7th year of residency at the Burswood Entertainment Complex on Saturday nights.
