Icon
Jako is a much loved icon in West Australian sporting circles. His grim-faced determination and muscular physique are etched into the memories of all who lived through the rise and rise of the West Coast Eagles.
Following a magnificent on-field career, his work as a Fox Sports Presenter and as a Football Analyst for 96fm and 6PR has kept him firmly in the public eye.
He is a champion, a public figure and now an experienced media personality. Those who’ve worked with him in business have seen first-hand the power of commitment and professionalism.
Representation
Glen was a spokesperson for WorkSafe over a ten year period. Independent market research found Jakovich “a credible spokesperson”. He featured in television advertisements, hosted events, campaign launches and safety forums. He visited over 200 primary schools and is described by the Director-General of WorkSafe as an engaging speaker who adapted his presentations to suit the target audience and was always well received. “Showed commitment and enthusiasm for the campaign”.
The State Manager of Medibank Private worked with Glen for three years and describes him as “a great ambassador for the company”. “A family man who demonstrates continuously a healthy lifestyle”. He adds that Glen’s promotion of the Medibank retail network has been successful and well received by members of the public.
Steel Blue’s Sales Director has had Glen give many talks to their major end users including Alcoa, Worsley and BHP. “This has helped us to establish very good relationships with these companies. He has had a major influence in the success of our business.”

GLEN JAKOVICH AS A KEYNOTE SPEAKER
Throughout his career with the West Coast Eagles, Glen had extensive exposure as a presenter in a variety of forums that included corporate functions, sportsmen’s nights, schools, and as talent in numerous commercials and promotional ventures.
His success as a player, respect as a community and media personality and passion for Australian football provides him with the smorgasbord of experiences from which he presents.
Since his retirement, Glen has spoken at a significant number of events on behalf of the West Coast Eagles and been a key facilitator in the club’s community programs. Notably, in 2005 he compered match day coterie functions for West Coast Eagles qualifying home games at Subiaco Oval.
